Oak Ridge Meadow

Welcome to Oak Ridge Meadow! Here we breed, buy, and sell North African Barb horses. We strive to breed our best quality horses, to make our foals the best they can be. Our goal is to have some of the best western barb horses ever, but there's a thing to that. We want our Champs, to be colorful! Training:

We start training our foals at the age of 6 months, and we always train in western pleasure. We think that western pleasure is a uncommon thing in North African Barb horses, and we want to make it more common. We also think that starting training at a young age is a BIG jumpstart to the horse in the future. 

When we train a horse that we buy, we want to make sure we have the full history of its showing past. If the horse has been ridden in English, then we will see if we can train it in racing. We do train in racing, but that's uncommon for us, because its more common in North African Barb horses.
