A bit of help needed
I have these two colts, and I need just a bit of help with their colors. I'm pretty sure Cold as Ice is a red dun, but I'm always unsure with the horses that appear dun. He appears to be the same color as his mother, however his eyes are more green. Is this a case of tiger eye, or are his eyes just ...

Re: Green Meadow Ranch Belgians And Arabians
Yeah, the tail is a big problem for me too, I somehow stabilised the dished face and short head in my arabs, and the current goal is slightly shorter back and high set tail, but I just lost my premium and I'm not even near close to having tokens for it, so that makes things harder :D but anyway, yo...

Re: Green Meadow Ranch Belgians And Arabians
I love the idea with arabs, I wish there were more users to breed arab looking arabs, though I can't be much helpfull, because my arabs have quite long pedigrees (though very arab looking, it's the main requirement), I can sort of sponzor the project or train horses for you. Thank you :) You have s...

Re: Sooty, Dark Chestnut, or Caused By Shine?
She's just very sooty in the front! I've had a lot of my chestnuts develop sooty really dark and they end up becoming liver chestnut. ?? I have this new mare I picked up from the AC, and she looks a bit dark on the shoulder/front half of her body/whatever it is I'm tired At first I thought it was S...

Sooty, Dark Chestnut, or Caused By Shine?
?? I have this new mare I picked up from the AC, and she looks a bit dark on the shoulder/front half of her body/whatever it is I'm tired At first I thought it was Sooty, but after staring at her for a couple minutes I'm unsure if maybe she's just a really dark chestnut, or if it seems dark because...

Re: Green Meadow Ranch - HSH & Racers
Revamping GMR For, hopefully, the final time; I'm revamping Green Meadow Ranch. This time for Belgians, Arabians, and Experimental Projects. Main information will be found above, and I'm planning to stick with this setup for a while! And, what better way to start the revamp, then to find out my (cu...

Re: A Couple Belgian Fillies
Lovely fillies! Sylvesia is an Amber Champagne; that's the Champagne gene on a bay base. Darla is probably going to lighten as she ages, like her sire and his sire, Solar Power -- look at their foal pictures in their Galleries. I like the description "Gold Cream Pangaré" for their adult c...

Genetics Are Fun/Random
Was just looking at the two Belgian fillies I bought recently, and noticed some interesting differences in the fillies that go to show genetics are truly fun/random. Talisman, a one year old filly, who still has no growth in her mane. Sylvesia, a six month old filly, who has some growth in her mane ...
