what colour is my new foal?

It could possibly be Gold Champagne, but I could be wrong. :)

It's generally difficult to tell coat color from newborns. Basic things come forth, such as base-colors and agouti, and also greying. Tiger eye makes an appearance, and if the horse is a cream carrier, it usually offers itself. But exact colors sometimes remain hidden until the foal coat blows.

Ginger: cream carrier, appears to be on agouti, double tiger eye. My guess is a smoky brown tiger eye.
Stargazer: graying black, probably carrying one cream gene (a silver-black foal is a cream carrier, a red-black foal is not)
Romances Dusk: appears to be a double cream on red-base, or possibly a cream-pearl. Quite probably also with the greying gene (horses with this gene appear to be born already with their adult coat).
soda: smoky black.
Chrome: just black. Possibly a double black.
Phenomenon: greying buckskin.
