RSÆ project

Postby Malakai10 » November 24th, 2016, 1:03 pm

RSÆ projects
These horses will be 'breed' that I create myself.
Hg Sport Horse

Height: 15,3 - 18hh

Build: Very light - light, horse-type.

Colour: The horse must be a grey or true-white. Any solid base coat is allowed and silver dapple, roan and sooty are also allowed. Metallic horses are sought after, but it is not a requirement. Horses with blue eyes are preferred to dark- and green-eyed horses.
Most sought out colour: true white.
Best base colours: palomino pearl, silver buckskin pearl, silver smoky black pearl, silver smoky brown pearl, silver perlino, silver cremello, silver smoky cream, silver brown cream, tiger silver smoky black, tiger eye smoky black.

Coat/hair: Coat should be short. Mane must be thin enough that the horse does not look like it has Puffskeins along its neck. The mane must neither stand up nor completely cover the horses neck. Tail can be medium - thick and must reach the horse's hocks but must not be longer than to their back fetlocks. No feathering. If possible, mane and tail should be put in hunter braids using bands/thread/wool that complements the horse's coat.

Head: Nose should be straight, although it can be slightly dished or Roman, but it must not be noticeable at first glance. Overall, their head must just look right, with the length from the top of their head (not including ears) to the bottom on their cheeks should approximately half the length of their face. Ears should be moderately sized and, whilst slightly small ears should not be penalized, large ears are not allowed. Eyes should be bright and a medium - large size. Nostrils are large. Face length should be about halfway between the shortest it can get and medium length. Jowls should be shallow.

Body: Must be downhill, back should be slightly long, moderate or slightly short. Rib cage should be deep. Hips should be long and well-sloped. The neck can be slightly long, medium length or slightly short, but no more than halfway from medium length. Shoulders should be well sloped. The point of shoulder should be low. Flanks should be shallow. Back should be medium length or slightly long.

Legs: Legs should be thin with the stifle placed a bit forward. The horse's legs should always look at least slightly long.

Hooves: Medium or small, a diameter the same size as the horse's fetlocks is perfect.

General: The horse should look elegant, athletic and proud. Horses used for showing should be well-muscled and fit.

Temperament: Highly-strung or spirited.

Should you wish to breed these as well, please tell me so that I can add your username to the 'Breeders'.

If you have horses/ponies that could help me further my goals and you are willing to share them, please tell me.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. :)

Other breeders: (I've put them here for a quick reference to players who breed certain breeds or horses for certain sports. This is definitely not a list of people that I randomly clicked on when browsing through Farm Logs *looks away innocently*)

Thanks for the offer, but I always try my best to keep spotted horses, varnish roans, etc. out of my herds.
