Image Measurements

I've been trying to add a signature and farm logo to my profile and farm. However, no matter how large or small the photo, it never works. It works right when i finish adding it, but after I refresh the screen, it either says "Image" without showing anything, or leaves a white outline, again not showing anything. I'm not sure if I'm choosing the wrong measurements when resizing the image, or if the website I'm using to resize is wrong, or anything else. Is there a max KiB? I have tried adding these images on several devices, but no luck. In addition, I've also tried making an avatar with the requirements (90x90 pixels, 6 KiB), but that didn't work either.

Any help would be appreciated!
