Spanish Jennet

Until registries are in place the Breeding Communities forum will be for players to work together towards creating or improving their favourite breeds.
Forum rules
Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.
All new threads must be approved.

Spanish Jennet

Post by LadyRuthven »

Hi Everyone. I have been breeding Spanish Jennets for a while now. I was actually the breeder responsible for breeding in the spotted patterns for them. Most real Spanish Jennets do have an Appaloosa or Paint coat so I thought I'd try to get their look in game the closest I could.

Right now I am working on introducing some fresh bloodlines, so while breeding Spanish Jennets, I am also breeding in Sorraia, Tarpan x Mongalian, Tarpan x West African Barb, and Spotted Arabians, Arabian x Sorraia, North African Barbs (basically any breeds that help us get to Spanish Jennets). It's a lot of experimenting, doesn't always work like I hope but hopefully I get to bolster those breeds while achieving some strong Spanish Jennet bloodlines.

I would be more than happy to share these horses with any other Spanish Jennet breeders (or other breeders that need them) to help their lines as well. I try to play this game as often as possible (real life sometimes gets in the way), but I will help out as much as I can. I don't have premium right now (it ran out) but I'm working my way back to it. I guess if you can't get me in PM, on the forum will work.

I'd love to start and find a group of Spanish Jennet breeders that can help each other out, show off their lines, encourage and give advise to others and grow this breed into a standard. And above all else to have fun with like minded players. :)

hello, Idon't know if you're still around but I've started breeding "ancient" iberian breeds and I though you might be interested in some exchanges (5000 for stud fees is a bit high for my budget right now) but I will happily let you use one of my WAB/NAB/Sorraia/ spanish Jennet in exchange for using one of yours...

i could be interested by

and if you are willing to sell/trade http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/957257, http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/962260, http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/955701, http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/684139 or once they have given you a few foals, i'll be happy to have one of them!

have a look I what I have in stock, and there is one horse from a friend playing with me that may be really interesting for you as you want Lp carriers:
Al Mansur An Avel
she might agree to sell it

And I'm finally back into the fully swing of things again after a long hiatus. Sorry I have been away. Real life just got in the way I'm afraid.

Anyway, I'm still breeding Spanish Jennets, as well as taking on Mustangs and Spanish Mustangs as a secondary project.

And I'm so happy to report a finally got a colt with HGP in the 50,000 range. And I'm so proud of him!!

Also, I have a bunch of my Spanish Jennet mares available for offers. Just go their pastures to see which is available. I can always make deals too. Just let me. :)

I also updated my farm and are started a farm log too.

Oh, no, I went to accept your offer but the system said you had to up your skills once more.

Do you want me to hold that offer for you? I can also either breed her again or you can get the foal she Carrie's now for free or a dollar (if the system won't let me give it to you free), it's up to you. I'm totally fine with whichever. :)
