Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.

Welcome
Since there is no Thoroughbred registry yet in place, I will be hosting this club for trained Thoroughbreds or colts/stallions for stud with above 40 speed. This is a way for TB breeders to see the best of other's new stock, share breeding, and competition!
You may post your 100% pure Thoroughbreds in the comments, but to be added to the club roster your horse must meet the club standards
Club Rules & Regulations
◘ foals are not eligible for registration, horses registered must be at least 2 years of age
◘ horses with bad conformation are not accepted, if your horse doesn't look like a Thoroughbred, it should not be registered with breeders who are trying to achieve the Thoroughbred look
◘ horses who are not 5/5 or are "4*" may be accepted since especially the HWO height panel is not true to the Thoroughbred breed, of which most are 17+hh
◘ all colors will be accepted, patterns are debatable
◘ your horse should have a unique name, something like "star" is not unique!
At this time, I am only accepting notable Thoroughbred stallions and competitive mares. Random untrained horses will not be listed on the registry, unless you plan to stud them.You may register fully trained horses with the intent to compete them.
I will be offering banners and trophies/awards to put on your page!

A 65k HGP, 44 speed, fully trained pitch-black Thoroughbred. He is the main inspiration for my high-speed TB project, and although he has no current offspring, I owe everything to him! I would like his bloodlines to spread around HWO.
