Until registries are in place the Breeding Communities forum will be for players to work together towards creating or improving their favourite breeds.
Forum rules
Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.
All new threads must be approved.

Please feel welcome to join the Legend of the Al Khamsa Arabians -الخمسة

Dear Community

After a couple of days I realised how inbred all the arabians are.

I would love to value that amazing bred, his long history a little more and I want to create a little breeding story line.

There are a lot of legends about the Arabians.
One of them is the Al Khamsa Legend.
Al Khamsa means: The Five.
The five first loyal mares of the prophet Mohammed.

Here you can click to the wikipedia link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Khamsa
for more information.
I am not religious in that way. I just want to play around with the history and the legend of arabians and I kind of enjoy to replay history.

The Names of the first five arabian mares are:

Abbayah, Saqlawiah, Kuhaylah, Hamdaniyah, Hadbah

Here I created the first four mares already:
http://www.horseworldonline.net/farm/pasture/72165

I want to start from scratch with COI 0%.
Its so easy to bred high HGP Arabs, but nearly all of them have a COI of 100-180%.
With creating that new Bloodline I also want to value all the settings of this game and want to pay attention to it while breeding: Stats, Star- Evaluation, Conformation, Competions...
So in the end, we would have high HGP Arabians without three heads and tentacles :D

I think it would make sense to increase good Stamina and Speedstats for the beginning.
Whoever wants to be a part of this, please feel very welcome.
Together i will be more fun and inbreeding will be avoided.

I also got another good idea from sandyleig79 about:

Crabbat Arabian Stat

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crabbet_Arabian_Stud
Arabian Breeding History in England.

Horses
Azrek, Dajania, Queen of Sheba, Rodania, Mesaoud and Sotamm.

I might edit this over the time to add more informations and ideas.

So I am looking forward to hear from you all.

Take care and have a lovely day.

Fame Da Lupa

PS: I can do the Confo for any horse, if you ask me to. So you dont have to be a premium member to join. Everyone is welcome
If you cant adopt Arabians from the AC or you dont want to use your PTs up, if your are not a Premium User, which I totally understand - I can adopt Arabians from the AC for you and will put them up in the market if you want to become a member of the Team :D

So basically we're just breeding for low COI right?

Hello,
This is quite interesting. Although I am not a big fan of Arabs, because they are just everywhere, and there are so many, I'd like to join.
I can train in 4 years, and can finish training in about a week usually because I'm quite busy with school.
I can help with conformations as well.
Here is a handsome Arab stallion I bought and trained. His COI percentage is 34.2%, so quite low.
He's a beautiful Gold Cream with Tiger Eye:
*SS* Dante's Inferno

And I bought this handsome boy from ChristyLee, but his COI% is 50%, so a little higher.

Also do mixed arabs count? Because I have a really beautiful colt who is a mixed arab.
