Orlov Trotter

Until registries are in place the Breeding Communities forum will be for players to work together towards creating or improving their favourite breeds.
Forum rules
Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.
All new threads must be approved.

Is there anyone that has an Orlov stud with a more arab like head? All mine has started to get an "ugly" head :P

Got one with a straight face line, if you're interested. Don't think I've stashed away a purebred Orlov with a typical concave profile .. might have to check.

Brand spanking new line of Orlov's

He is a 5/5 for Orlov Trotter and Russian Trotter
And another one
5/5 for Orlov Trotter but only 4/5 for Russian Trotter

Getting the Mecklenburg and Rhinelander was such a pain in the neck

Awesome work!
Indeed with the Mecklenburg and Rhinelander (rest of 'em, too); would prolly be a good idea to distribute those breeds across HWO, but the less popular ones tend to just stack up at one's own farm x)
Anyway, if you ever think of improving/increasing those breeds, I still have mine left as well, and would put them up for stud, etc.

Ah, anyway, thought it might be suitable to actually post something about my own Orlov project; been trying to implement the silver dapple/black/grey coat for a while and have ended up with something relatively proper.
Below mentioned stallion is also up for stud.
