Trying to create an Aussie Stock Horse

Until registries are in place the Breeding Communities forum will be for players to work together towards creating or improving their favourite breeds.
Forum rules
Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.
All new threads must be approved.

Trying to create an Aussie Stock Horse

Post by paddlepoplion »

I recently bought a newborn purebred Waler colt, he needs to mature. But in the meantime I'm trying to find a purebred Quarter Horse mare to breed him with when he's ready. If anyone has one up for sale that I've missed,
please tell me. :)

Are you still looking for purebred Quarter Horse?
There doesn't seem to be any purebred quarter horse mare for sale yet, just searched a few minutes ago on the 26 March 2017.
There's this Part Quarter Horse x Thoroughbred (85) filly:

I bought her just now because of her color but would you want her?
I'm off to have lunch and later I need to save up for an extra horse space or 2 and eventually a new pasture or barn.
