Thoroughbred Triple Crown Event
Post by Baranduin Brewster »
It's Triple Crown time right around the corner. So, to get in the spirit of things..I will be setting up the three corresponding races to be held close to the actual race time. Each race will be open to any Thoroughbreds of any gender under the age of 3 years old.
By entering the race, you are considering participating (prize money is the purse, so will be distributed by the game), so no need to post your horses, unless you want to brag or show off, then knock yourself out. Since the game will be the 'judge,' I will be entering as well. Links to the races will be posted once the go up and the winner of each will be posted here.
There will be a separate version (Triple Tiara) for just the fillies, these will be posted on the other thread.
Kentucky Derby
Date: May 4rd
Purse: $2,000,000
Starting Fee: $50,000
Winner:
Preakness Stakes
Date: May 18th
Purse: $1,500,000
Starting Fee: $50,000
Winner:
Belmont Stakes
Date: June 8th
Purse: $1,500,000
Starting Fee: $50,000
Winner:
As an added bonus if your horse wins all three races (winning the Triple Crown), then that owner will receive $4,000,000 additional money.
If people are interested, I will see about creating (or getting someone to create) images of trophies or something that can be personalized) like that for each of the races and one for a possible triple crown winner.
Any other ideas, you might have will be taken into consideration.

What level will this be held at? I have a nice colt but he's already past level 1 on racing.Baranduin Brewster wrote:.

Is this going to happen next year? Or will the dates change?
Or is it happening at all? I really like this idea
