So, I just wanted to clarify some of the rules to make sure I understand before we begin.Rodeo_Ace wrote:boop
-At the end of the competition we submit offspring from our herd to be evaluated, right?
-And the offspring you'll judge have to be direct descendants of the mare you provide us, but they don't have to be her children. Like, they can be her grandchildren or great grandchildren?
-We must have at least three offspring submitted
-Also, is COI going to be evaluated? I think it would be difficult to create a good, unified herd without having the COI be greater than 0%

Question One/Two: I will take a look at all of the offspring that descend from your mare. I will be going through them all, from start to finish. And the breeder with the "overall" best offspring from their mare will be the breeder who gets the most points. If you want to submit them to this forum you totally can! Maybe the ones you are most proud of. But for the hard cold judging, it will be all of the progeny. This includes great grandchildren, as many offspring as you get from that mare, her 16 generation down the line will be looked at.
Question Three: The 3 offspring means, have at least 3 generations. In order for there to be any chance at a good competition at least 3 generations need to have been born.
Question Four: Heck no! I know how hard it is to create something wonderful and keep the COI down. For the sake of this competition I will not be looking at the COI.

Irritatingly enough it looks like someone purchased your horse without reading the huge "DO NOT BUY" tag on it. I purchased another from the AC for you.GracelynEquus wrote:ping

As you have rehomed the mare I assume you no longer wish to be part of the competition? I have removed you from the competitor list.grassybutt wrote:ping
