How do I get horses to look like they do in real life in the game?

Post by Rosecreekstablesfarm »

I breed Dutch Warmbloods and I have a problem. I cannot get them to look like a real life Dutch Warmblood. All the ones in game are pencils necked, too top heavy, and/or have extremely little legs. I am putting thoroughbred and standardbred into my lines in An attempt to get them to look more realistic, but I need help to do this. If anyone has tips or studs I could use I would be very grateful. I just want my Dutchies (as I like to call them) to be realistic!

GAME DUTCH WARMBLOOD
Below is my best and most realistic looking Dutch warmblood. IF you want to see my others look at my pastures on my account.

See what I mean. Can someone please help me?

Part of your problem is that your horses are not trained, and are super skinny. Weight affects how much fat fills out areas like the horse's topline, barrel, and hindquarters. Training affects muscle definition.

Here is one of my horses when he was thin:

And here he is fat:
