I've got this foal https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/3747791
Both parents are pure black but the foal came out a chestnut colour [?] and I'm not too sure why
I wasn't sure where to post this and decided to post it here, apologies if I posted it in the wrong forum

Black can be E/E or it can be E/e
Both of your horses are E/e
So the foal came out e/e which equates to chestnut.

Is that enough information for you? Or are you going to need something more? :mrgreen:

Also, it can be appropriate to post in the questions forum... but color questions usually get quicker responses in the color forum. You're good either way. 8-)
