The HWO Discord is hosting a monthly raffle!

You may submit two horses a month. You have a choice of reward between 50 000 HWO money or 3 free breedings to an exclusive stud.

Note: using the command ?hwobot in the server will reveal the commands for the bot.

How to enter:

Enter your HWO horse by first joining the Discord server (you may want to select the #raffleping role)
Wait until the hwo_raffle_bot is declared to be running (or check if it is online.) If it online, go to the #raffle channel and type (replace [] with relevant text):

You will then be given a raffle number!

Prizes:

The raffle is drawn twice once a month, using a random number generated by a bot. The first winner will become the server icon from the first to the fourteenth of the month. The second winner will be the server icon from the fifteenth to the end of the month.

At the end of the month, the list of entries will be cleared and you may re-enter. The winners of the previous month's raffles cannot be resubmitted the following month.

If you win, you may choose between $50k or getting three, free breedings to a randomly chosen exclusive stud from a list.

Volunteer a stud:

If you would like to add a stud to the list of prize studs:

First, check that your stud meets the requirements:

• 1) It MUST be an exclusive stud. The only players who have ever bred this horse must be you and/or the raffleprize winners who won the breedings to this horse*.
  2) people who win the three breedings from your stud must end up having paid no more than $1 per breeding.**
  3) you MAY withdraw your stud at any time,however, if your studs breedings have already been gifted to a player, then youmust* go through with it

Next, wait for the bot to be online (or ask me to put it online), go to the #raffle prize studs thread in the #stallions-for-stud channel or else reply in this forum. Type:

If you wish to later on to open the breedings to your stud*, please remove them from the list using

*This is because the point of the prize is for it to be breedings to an exclusive stud, hence why it should remain an exclusive stud while on this list.

You may remove your stud at any point from the list. However, if someone has already won the breedings to your stud, you must allow them to have those three breedings.

How to avoid someone breeding to your exclusive stud:

• 1) Chat privately about arranging an exact time for you to both log on, quickly do the breedings and then the stallion owner can take the stud down
  2) put the horse up for a large amount of money - more than it's worth - perform the breedings and then buy a deletable horse from the prize winner, paying them back the same amount of money (N.B. this will not work well for younger, newer players who do not have the money to initially pay a large amount)
  3) privately sell the mares that you want bred to the stud owner when they are able to be bred (i.e. not pregnant), allow the stud owner to breed them and then immediately give your mares back to you pregnant
