Help with Fatigue

I have some horses that are close to be fully trained. But for a while now their training goes very slowly, eg they get not even a full point of stamina despite im just lunging them in walk for 30mins. Instead their fatigue jumps up to 6 to 10 at once, but goes back to 0 for the next turn. What can i do to train them better/more efficiently?

The more trained your horses are, the less skills they increase in per unit of time. Fatigue does make it worse; you can combat this by only doing lower fatigue activities (lunge on the flat). Trotting on a loose rein will also bring fatigue down.
