Let's face it, chestnuts are always chestnut, but this mare certainly offers a brilliant red coat.


At just over 1 year.

Not really exactly positive on the genetics of this one. I know he's chestnut and I know he has dun. I believe he also has flaxen with advanced sooty and that's where the light legs come in. I do not believe this is from pangare.
Regardless, he certainly has a unique coat.

Great roaning on this mare, reminds me of some real blue roan horse pictures I've seen. Striking contrast.

Chestnut Pangare mare with sooty so dark, she appears black.
Sooty came in early and kept deepening her shade.
