This is an ongoing project of mine that I will update continuously as I finish more of the charts. Since the beta I have collected many pictures of different coat colours with and without dilutions to have as a reference when deciding what a horse's colour could be. I thought I could share them with others and hopefully help with the understanding of the genetics behind.

First off is the base colours that most people already know about. In the chart I try to briefly explain the genetics behind.
Note: There are many more variations of these colours than the pictures that are shown. Darker/lighter shades of chestnut, brown and bay do exist in the game.

Sooty bay, greying out. Plus Metallic gene :)
So in real life, this horse would simply be called "grey".

She's really difficult to place for me. She's 100% Champagne, though. See the freckly nose?
