Appears you've fully received your answer.
There are no rules against flipping horses on HWO.
Flipping Horses = The act of purchasing a cheap horse from the market and (usually) without making any changes to that horse, including aging, training, pregnancy, etc. put the horse back on the market for a larger amount of money.
Flipping horses isn't well thought of on HWO in the community, but it can serve a purpose. For people that need immediate room, horse flippers can be quite helpful by purchasing the horses to create the needed room.
That said, HWO doesn't really have many or any horse flippers left. The market cleaners and the additional help we have with people purchasing 'don't need'; 'need room'; ect. have stepped in to fulfill that need.
Technically, the horse you sold isn't a flipped horse. Because the horse was changed during the time it was sold and the time it was put back up.
Also, knowing how to build an ad can help sell a horse as well. Some ideas for building an ad, can be found in this link.
