Win 1600 Pony Tokens!

Post by rosie0922 »

Welcome to the October rosie, hdmcminn & Estonian Holding makeover challenge.
This contest will actually feature Estonian's beautiful Trakehner horses!

Registration closes October 7th and auction horses will be passed out October 14th!

I am going to streamline the process...no entry fees and all horses are assumed to compete in all classes. All you have to do is follow the rules and start training and competing once you pick up your horse!

Here’s how it works:
All registered participants must train and show their Trakehner horse which you will bid on during the auction. Auction will be released once registration closes. All these Trakehner horses will have the same sire:

The mares used for this project will come from Estonian's lines as we had already discussed the potential of partnering up for this. Once the auction is over and everyone has a horse, you must then train your horse and have him/her competition ready and at that point, your horse starts competing in the discipline(s) of your choice. Everyone will have three weeks to train and show your horse. If you fail to do so then you are scratched from the competition. Once the three weeks are over, rosie0922, hdmcminn, and Estonian will be visiting your horse and start judging. Results will be posted immediately after judging is complete. All participants will be pinged in the results forum. Winners will have 48 hours to claim prizes.

**AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION**
-Horse doesn’t meet training standards (your horse must be trained to at least 95% in all stats).
-Horses' weight is below thin or is above moderately fleshy.
-Horse isn’t entered in any comps.
-Horse is bred during this makeover.
-DO NOT SELL YOUR HORSE DURING THE MAKEOVER.
-changing the horse's name (necessary to track progress).
—————
Things to note:
-You have to keep the horse's name the same throughout the makeover.
-If you aren’t able to train your horse then that is fine. You may hire a trainer to train it. BUT YOU HAVE TO BE THE ONE TO COMP.
-horse has to be trained to 95% in all stats.
-you may do whatever you want with the horse after the makeover.
-This is just for fun. I expect these horses should be decent competitors but it's still just for fun!
-Judges notes can be seen when results are released. Anyone can enter.

For your information here is the class list:
-Horse with the most titles ($1 mil)
-Horse with the most points ($1 mil)
-Horse with the highest Win % ($1 mil)
-Best all around English horse. ($500 k)
-Best all around western horse. ($500 k)
-Best all around speed horse ($500 k)
-Horse who made the most $ ($500 k)

Horse with the most wins from the class list will be the overall champion and will win an additional $1 mil plus 1600 pony tokens.

Horses (via auction) get released on the 14th. Judging will be November 4th.

A few questions: is it allowed to have our horse trained by another play in the game? Will we have to return the horses after the competition is over? And final question, will we be able to choose the mare to our foal (you may have already answered that question, but I may not've understood it).

Another question just popped up into my head, but then dissipated into thin air - I will let you know if it comes upon me again  !

your question about training is a yes you can (it was in the post) you just need to comp it your self
they said we can do whatever we would like after the judging with the horse
as for the last question you are biding on a horse in the auction so if you see one with a dam you like then you can bid on them

may want to reread the post again  it is a lot tho so i get missing/ forgetting parts so its all good
hope that was helpful

So for the bidding, is there a certain price range everyone should stay between? Or could you bid something crazy like $100 million? Just another random question; I hope you don't mind answering :? .

Bidding should not be crazy. If you're not picky, you could probably get a horse for $1.

That's what my main question was that I was a bit confused on (on my side, you did nothing wrong - sometimes I can't comprehend things that well on the 1st overview).
