This will be main forum post to update my breeding programs (BPs). I've had other logs and posts before but i want to keep things more organized from now on. This post wil be a compilation of other posts in this same thread, made primarily to keep myself on track of my projects. Any relevant farm updates will be recorded at the section "Main Logs". BP updates will be at each BP post, linked at "Current Breeding Projects" section. Other sections might be added with miscellanous info with time.

Nordestinos Leão do Norte

This is my main post to track my Nordestino horse breeding project. My main objective now is to keep a family of purebred Nordestinos.

Main Objectives:
1. Have a 60,000+ HGP herd of purebred Nordestinos
2. 5* Nordestino Evaluation
3. Allowed base colors: Chestnut, Palomino, Cremello, Bay, Buckskin, Double Cream Buckskin
4. Tobiano White markings.
5. Tiger Eye

20/01/2024: COI inbreeding problems + i want to introduce the tobiano again made me decide to keep Spanish Barbs and ocasionally breed new 1st gen nordestinos.
30/01/2024: Stallion Peralta became a Champion!

Black Forest Drafts

I've always thought Black Forest Horses were Silver maned, but some studies indicated that they are actually liver flaxen chestnuts. I love that color and the draft horses. So, i am building a herd of light-draft horses with liver chestnut color, very light flaxen mane and four long socks. Face markings will be allowed as stars but not as blazes (that looks too much like a Clydesdale).

Leopard Tarpans

Main Objectives:
1. Have a 50,000+ HGP herd of purebred Tarpans
2. 5* Tarpan Evaluation
3. Allowed base colors: Black, Brown
4. Full leopard gene expression.

AC horses:

Tarpans: Mr. Rockstar, Sugar, Splaash.
Caspians:Mr. Midnight, Mr. Badboy, Mr. Pitch
Turkmenes: Miss Brownie, Miss Cacau

This is just a post to mark my return to the site. I always go on hiatus and come back occasionally, so i will register every time i go back. Later today i will be doing an analysis of how i left things and reorganize my next steps.

Currently:

1. I will change my Lusitano breeding program for my Norman Cob.
2. I need to get 100% Tarpan herd from my current herd.
