The M'Bayar
Creation
North African Barb x Basotho Pony
Usual Height: 13.0hh to 14.1hh
The M'Bayar is a breed of small horse from the historic region of Baol in Senegal, in West Africa (therefore also known as the "Baol"). The Origins of this breed are not documented, but in the twentieth century the breed was influenced by Barb horses.
The breed is known to be calm and docile, rustic, strong and enduring.
I think I am currently the only one breeding these, and would like to know if anyone else wants to help? :)
I have put up a lot of mares for sale, and most horses in my herd are now at an HGP of 50.000 or higher.
Any suggestions on how to make this breed more interesting for you/other breeders?

I'm working on them too. - trying to maintain the Perfect score on the Physique Eval. But also find the perfect candidate for Fouta breeding with them as well.

I've bought most of mine from you - and have enjoyed getting involved with the breed - especially getting them a big push on the ranking in the competitions.

if I can be of any help, please let me know

Hi Mysister!
Yeah, you are probably the one that has bought the biggest share of them! :)
I am thinking of selling my whole herd now if you are interested.
I have 7 stallions and about 40-50 mares at any given point.

Well, I disappeared for a while there didn't I haha
Pretty sure he isn't interesting for you anymore anyway - but I will be selling the whole herd in a while. Very good horses, all with an HGP between 65k and 72k, and a %COI under 75%.
If you're interested :)
I'll put them up this week some time.

Unfortuanately, it's a filly - which means I still have no means of furthering the breed without finding her an eventual mate elsewhere.

but, I'm going to pair her parents up again - try for another one - more fouta's would be good - right?
