I think the problem lays in the fact there are different types of white and that they haven't fully coded the horse genome yet.

I thought I did hear recently that they either coded (found) another white coloration gene in horses, or that a new and different mutation that has caused a new white coloration has appeared in some horse somewhere.
Oh interesting - genetic testing on an embryo!
There are some neat possibilities in all of this.

For the past couple of weeks the View First Unread button at the top of each thread has not been working for me. Anyone else having that problem?

Did you try clearing your cache already? I assume you did. Send it over to the bugs forum for admin to give it a check.
