WANTED: Welsh Cob Stallions and Spanish Barb Stallions

I am trying to breed chincoteague ponies and need coverings from Spanish Barb and Welsh Cob Stallions.

Preferences:
- Height anywhere from 10-12 hands
- Not too bulky, Medium- Medium Heavy
- Nice coloring is a plus
- GP greater than 35k

making a spanish barb for you that comply to your wishes. give me a few days you get the best on the market.

making some new welsh cobs aswell, but that gonna take a month because its not an active project right now.
i first have to make a new hackney before i start with the welsh cob

I have lots of Welsh Cobs as I use them towards my Connemaras, and I have a couple of Spanish Barbs at the moment who I use towards Knabstruppers. The Barbs are all mixed breeds produced for Knabstrupper so are taller and finer than you need, and the Welsh Cobs are all 100% Welsh so taller and bulkier than you need.

I'd suggest maybe creating a mixed breed towards your project, to get what you need . If you want to breed to any of mine to create one let me know. A grade horse mare, or a cross breed mare without any Welsh or Spanish Barb in it (for example a Tarpan x Forest Horse) would give you a 50% Welsh Cob, and if it's not quite right you can further dilute it.

i couldnt get them that small but i made my spanish barbs a bit slimmer for you.

Nice.. good pick i see, i was just breeding untill i got one that was medium and tempered, i didnt look at the conformation, so we had good luck with the Chinco rating

Another way to find out if there are any horse that comply to your wishes is to organise a competition for the breed.
Then you can check out what horses are out there..
