Gaits

So I like the gait thing, the wheely thing. It's cool. I'm just curious as to what the logic is behind filling it in. Clearly each spot on the wheel represents a gait, but how are they ordered?

They are ordered in the same order as the gaits are listed below. The top row is all the trotting gait and the bottom row is all the walking gaits.
