Like I said, it will be only a 25% chance of the foal being pearl expression (that's 1 in 4 foals), However, there is a 50% chance of the offspring also being pearl carriers. So even if it's not expressed, they still have a chance of having pearl and throwing pearl expressed offspring.

But I agree, it hasn't been two good births, you missed both pearl expression and silver, although the chestnut might be hiding the silver gene.

Keep trying, it will happen, but it will take time.

I do see that the pearl hasn't come out yet.

Take your best filly from that pearl stud (a direct daughter) and breed it back to him. It might take a couple breed-backs but it will give you a pearl offspring.
I'd recommend a silver dapple, if you have one. If not, then a black girl.

It does appear those pearl genes are being a bit shy.

I'm also getting a mare of that color. So how do I get the foals of that mare to give the same color?

Use the Punnett square

...........pr....................n....
pr | foal #1=pr/pr | foal #2=pr/n

n | foal #3=pr/n | foal #4=n/n

whereas both parents are pearl carriers but neither have the pearl expression
foal #1 is a foal expression
foals #2 & #3 are pearl carriers
foal #4 is neither an expression or a carrier

As long as the mare is a true pearl expression (with pink skin and dark eyes) and Is Not a champagne carrier (just for ease of identification), then she would be a pr/pr, a pearl expression.

You can use the mare to cross into the best colts you have already produced. Every foal from that stud is already a pearl carrier, so you have a 50/50 chance of producing pearl offspring, but Every Foal from that mare Will Be a pearl carrier.

Of course, if you were to cross a pearl expression with another pearl expression (that sire to the new mare) Every foal will be pearl expressed. :D

Very nice! He'll be a good help.

The more pearls and pearl carriers you add in to your project, the greater chance and eventually, you'll have nothing but pearls galore. :D
