Figured I'd start one of these. Been using a notebook but I keep misplacing it, and as a result there is no planning at all happening w/ my breeding projects. So here goes.

Current Projects & Their Corresponding Brands
Dressage Competition Horses ~ [A]
- This is the bigger of the two projects. The [A] brand gets assigned only if the horse has green or higher movement. At first they also had to score above 45% in a level 10 Dressage competition, but I kept forgetting so now I don't bother. The breed is irrelevant, though at the moment most of my horses are Friesian/Trakehner Crosses.

New Forest Ponies ~ [AF]
- This one's more of a side project that I started on a whim. So far I've bred 4 or 5 New Forest Ponies (NFP's from now on). They aren't great, and the colors are not appropriate if you're following the official breed standard, but they're getting there. The [AF] brand goes on every NFP bred.

I'll do today's news in a separate post because today isn't over yet.

Off topic, but a humble brag real quick. The top seven horses in today's Dressage Trakehner Contest (hosted by Bombicilla) were bred by me. Which is not something I ever expected to happen.

[A] Sunset in Sicily has reached GMCh in Dressage, his new L. 10 high score being 49.62%

Finally reorganized my barns, took a lot less time than anticipated.

Stud/Competition
[A] Stompin' Thumpin's stud fee has been reduced to accommodate a dropping win percentage.

[A] Craton has been put up for stud and has scored a new personal best of 50.09% in L.10 Dressage.

[A] Sunset Dinosaur has also set a new personal best, scoring 50.39% in a recent L.10 Dressage competition.
