Thank you! Any help is appreciated, though not needed right now.Gabby_Woodlark wrote:Hello and welcome to HWOCallen wrote:Hello, fellow players!
Callen here. I just joined (And by that I mean just minutes ago). My younger friend has been pestering me about joining this website. I finally have given in to see what all the talk was about. It seems this 'game' is more detailed than any other horse breeding platform. Though I haven't yet bought my first horse, I figured I'd just let you all know I have joined and it already seems astonishing. I hope to make some friends on here and get to know the community more.
Cheers!

Our text isn't working rn, so I decided to make an account on here. Mainly to talk to you rn, but also to try breeding horses. I am honestly surprised it had my name open. I thought for sure it would have been taken already, with how common it is. Oh, well!
Btw: The house we were looking @ has lowered its price! Call me tomorrow and we can out in an offer if you'd like! <3

A lot of our community is super open and friendly, I feel like it's a safe place for people of all sorts!Callen wrote: Although my name is not Callen in real life, I do adore the show as well and picked my username to fit that love. Thank you for the link, I will read it as soon as I am done typing this reply My 'younger friend' that I mentioned earlier has given me some tips and tricks. I may need a grinder sooner or later, so I will eventually take you up on your offer! Thanks for reaching out, didn't know I would get a reply the quickly, hah!
Do you work with horses outside of these breeding games?

I see that already, you all are much more of a helping community rather than Facebook or Instagram of those sorts. Maybe because we (As horse world online members) have better admins that legitimately care about the 'game' and get involved when needed. You don't see Mark Zuckerberg or Kevin Systrom stepping in to resolve any drama on their platforms.Alyssa Davis wrote:A lot of our community is super open and friendly, I feel like it's a safe place for people of all sorts!Callen wrote: Although my name is not Callen in real life, I do adore the show as well and picked my username to fit that love. I seem to be getting off of course here, I apologize.
No, I, unfortunately, do not work with or own any living horses. I did, though, have several mini figures of them as a kid, but those have since been discarded. I do wish to eventually ride a horse once I have the proper money to take lessons and the courage to ride with younger ones that will probably find it odd for a middle-aged man to be taking lessons with them. It's all about time, I suppose.

Thank you kindly! All of you are so welcoming, but I do have to realize that you may have some sketchy players, as all things have.BlackOak2 wrote:Welcome to the game!

Yes, I am, very well taken care of indeed. Though I am always open to tips and tricks that any may have to offer.

There's a lot of behind the scenes work here, that's for sure. It has certainly changed over the years. But yes, we do have very helpful admin and patient senior players with much available advice.Callen wrote:...
I understand, childhood dreams. If I am being honest, I rode in lessons with multiple grown adults when I was a kid. The trainer would use me as an example for them. Even now, I still see adults who have never been around horses before taking lessons, so it's not an uncommon thing, trust me.
