It is! It is more of behind the scenes updates.
For example, the game was just moved to a different server!
All updates can be found in the announcements forum:

There is no estimate on when updates are posted, they just get posted whenever ^-^
However these have been the most recent update post:

It's bit of a weird one from what I can see because the first link you sent is where they've given and actual game update... but that was 2 whole years ago. In fact I remember being active when it happened.

Then you've sent that other link which is more promising because it shows the devs talking about updates but since 2021 it seems like nothing has happened...
