thankyou for the information! shall keep it in mind, thankyou!!BlackOak2 wrote:It's an honorable and useful goal to work toward.red wood farm wrote:hello!! sorry to reach out again,
i have decided i really want to work on building some good arabian lines. so i have wondered has anyone got any idea how to make money fairly quickly? i’ve found a few horses which have caught my eye and would like to use but i’m currently limited to 3,900 after all the tutorial bits.
if anyone has any ideas/ suggestions please do let me know
thankyou!!
I shall be awaiting if you've obtained the goal!
If you need an infusion of monies, there are a number of useful ways to get it. First and foremost, you can ask the community at large, for a donation (just open a new topic requesting a donation, put up a horse you don't want back, or say that you want it back) and the community will respond.
The most direct way other than asking for a donation, is to find yourself a grinder and start grinding. Learning to train can help and breeding together grinder-fodder and selling them as grinder-prospect foals is another. Grinder-prospect foals can net you at least 10k a foal.
In fact, your goal is leading you right down this path.
If you need a grinder, you can also request for one from the community. They'll offer discount and even free grinders to this end.
There is also popping and aging services that you can offer (but this does mean you'll be haltered to the game, to ensure the horses get returned to their owners).
I have quite a few other guides for in-depth reading in my quick-links.
That said, grinders offer bread & butter. Grinder-fodder foals offer good income without having to invest much at all (there are high-on-paper sales of mares and stallions for less than 100. I usually find a number that are $1 sales. Matching pretty much any of these types together will give you grinder-fodder foals). You don't even need to train them.
But, grinder-fodder foals, the sales can tend to come and go. Sometimes they'll be hot, and sometimes not. It's better selling them when they've proven to be good grinder-fodder and even incrementally better when they've been trained up.
There is one other option. If the horse's you're looking at and wanting, are for sale, you can ask the community to help you in acquiring these horses. Just like asking for donations.
For stud-coverings, you can do the same thing.
So, you have a number of options available for you.
*Edit*
AND.... now that I'm ready to post, it's already been taken care of!
Ah, well... the information is still quite helpful.
It happens to me often enough.
and yes, i shall keep you updated with how the project goes!
